This is a subtitle for your new post

2022 People Choice Award - Klonetics Plant Sciences

Happy 4:20 Y'all. The most exciting day of the year for cannabis lovers worldwide. A day for us to rejoice in the progress we've made bringing this beautiful plant out of the shadows and into the light, where it belongs.

Today is also an exciting day for us here at Klonetics because we get to announce the 2022 People's Choice Award winner. The cultivar of Distinction; the coveted strain that everyone should be watching this year.

Something kind of cool and unexpected happened with the awards. We actually have a
FOUR WAY tie. So rather than have a tie breaker, we thought we'd give all four of these deserving strains the 2022 People's Choice Award title, since they are all very much incredible cultivars.

Thank you to everyone who voted. We had votes come in for over 20 different strains in the catalogue.

Congratulations to the following four cultivars:

  • 1980s Hindu Kush by Temple Gardens
  • 2Y2 by RKIEM Seeds
  • Cannatonic by Resin Seeds
  • Zowahh by Karma Genetics

What happens next? The winner of the AR Cannabis Cup will now have access to any of these strains at a special rate (with the option for exclusivity, pending volume) and will also receive some additional perks from Klonetics.

If you are a licensed cultivator and want to get your hands on one of these incredible strains, reach out to us and let us know so we can help you out.

Cannabis production is about to be revolutionized by a new technology - tissue culture. This breakthrough is capturing attention in the industry as it promises higher yields, greater consistency, and lower costs. Tissue culture allows cannabis plants to be cloned and propagated in a sterile laboratory environment. Rather than traditional cloning and growing, plant tissues are cultured in specialized nutrient media and carefully controlled conditions to rapidly produce genetically identical plants. The benefits are immense. Tissue cultured plants are free of pests, diseases, and contaminants. They have a faster growth rate and more uniform size and shape. With precise inputs, tissue culture enables specific cannabinoid and terpene profiles to be replicated precisely and at scale. The consistency and quality control of tissue culture is a game-changer. For consumers, it means reliable access to preferred strains. For producers, it unlocks the ability to bring new cultivars to market faster and capture shelf space with branded products. Major cannabis companies are investing heavily in this technology to ramp up production and gain a competitive edge. Tissue culture labs are springing up and working closely with cultivators to propagate their prized strains. It's clear that tissue culture is the future for commercial cannabis production. As this technology becomes more widely adopted, we can expect more product options, stable pricing, and higher quality standards across the industry. The possibilities are endless when cannabis is cultured, not just grown. The future is now. Tissue culture is revolutionizing cannabis production for producers and consumers alike. It's a breakthrough that, ultimately, will help cannabis reach its full potential.
